Serving Suggestions and Recipies

Honey Wines and  Mead were traditionally served at cellar temperature, but can be enjoyed chilled or iced as well.

If you find the flavor a bit strong, Mead mixes very well with Apple Cider, White Grape Juice, and Cranberry Juice.  Start with 1/3 juice and 2/3 Mead, and adjust from there.

Traditional Mead can also be heated and Mulled, either with or without Cider.  Be carefull not to let the Mead get too hot as the alcohol will readily evaporate.

Any of the sweeter flavors of spiced Mead can either be served chilled or heated.  Individual cups may be heated for a short time in the microwave.
